Older Meucci and Viking Cues and It's George Leather Case

I'm going to be helping a friend list some older Meucci and Viking cues on eBay. I've attached some pics to the post. If anyone has any information on these cues they would like to pass along (approximate age, value, model, etc) feel free to PM me. They are both in excellent condition - the Meucci shows almost no use. The Viking has some minor black scratches on the ivory butt (very hard to picture, probably from removing from soft case), and the white linen wrap seems to have some blue tint from use (unless that is the way it was made, with blue tint, could be replaced and cue would look beautiful). Both cues roll straight together and apart. Both show some minor blueing on the shaft, everything shows well in the picture. The Meucci is a 2 point and the Viking is a 3 point. The Meucci will be sold with a hard It's George 1x1 case (no key, sorry), and the Viking with an inexpensive soft case. Thanks for any info you can provide on the cues or their value. I can pass offers along, feel free to PM me. I would consider buying myself but I just bought a new inexpensive McDermott off eBay (my first cue, thanks for the advice guys).

Thanks Jayman, I mean the ivory colored butt end, I didn't even stop to think if it was real ivory or not. Do they make cues with real ivory? Thanks.

Yea, Buttcaps start around $200 and go up from there

I am interested in buying the It's George case by itself. If this is possible please PM me and let me know.

Thanks

Ivory

$200    Wowza. Thats some serious bling.

JCIN, sent a PM regarding the case. He's looking to sell together, probably for shipping purposes, but anyone interested in anything including just the Its George case feel free to PM an offer and I will gladly pass it along, thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'm surprised at the value estimate, especially since I found a couple of sites online selling this same cue for around $400 (new?).
I've got PMs offers of $100 for the case alone (It's George leather) - wondering if it makes sense to sell the case seperate from the cue since someone may want one and not the other.

I didn't think you could buy this cue new anymore, and assumed that it had increased in value - but again I don't know much about cues myself. I'm surprised at the straightness of the cue for its age, it rolls perfectly together and apart, and I've also never seen a cue like this that had a linen wrap but the wrap is not exposed - it's covered with a layer of finish so you don't even feel the wrap. For $100 I might just buy it myself. Dropped you a rep socks, thanks again for the info.

of coarse something is only as valuable as of what someone is willing to pay for it, be it high or low, but regardless take my estimate with a grain of salt. i am by no means a dealer or reseller, just guesstimating on what i was able to dig up. but generally lower end production cues don't really appreciate such as special editions. and yeah, muecci for as long as i can remember have always covered thier linen wraps with a finish. about ht eonly cue maker that does. on thier original cues form the 80's there where a few that came without the finish, but you never see those. this one was from the mid 90s before allt he dot hooplay. they are described as having a soft whippy hit and tend to give alot of action. meuccis are one of those brands that is either loved or hated. myself, i've always played with them and got accustomed to the whippy hit and the feal of the finished over wrap. the closest hit i have found to the old predots is the 314-2. not too solid, not to whippy and still gives a ton of action.
