i was wondering also why the gold lettering in " schon" arent most of the these black, i looked at the 3rd blue book of cues and cant find the model either

no problem............ i know ive seen this cue years back somewhere and its drivin me nuts, and the gold lettering is a stumper!!!! but your number 2 in line ................ just need to solve the mystery!

evan clarke era cue.

Looks like an Evan Clarke era. As i've only seen Evan schons with the double silver rings.

hope that helps.

im thinkin it was in 1993, because if i read it correct that was the year they put schon in gold on the joint , then went to putting it on the shaft

If the shafts are original to the cue, it was made in 1993. In late 1992 someone was marketing a number of counterfeit Schon shafts. Mr Clark became aware of this and started marking real Schon shafts with Gold Letters in the Shaft Collar. Toward the end of 1993, the Schon name was moved from the joint collar to the shaft wood above the collar, where it is located today!!

Hope this helps!!!!!

they are the correct shafts for the cue, go it from a collector that had it since new, he loved the cue and purchased it from him, he just loved the cue and had no idea of its exact age or model! but the cue and shatfs are like brand new and still all original

little evening bump, i know there are a couple guys ive seen here that have a ton of schons anyone out there

Last time I contacted Clark about a Schon I had it took him 4 weeks to reply. Maybe he was just real busy. Hope you get a fast reply. I really like the butt sleeve on this cue.

i was hopin to get a quick answer, i thought for sure somehow here would know aboutthe cue, since ive seen a few that had a ton of the schons, anyone out there have the first edition blue book it might be in there, seemed there were alot more schons in that edition
