Very nice Tim Scruggs 4 point, 4 veneers cue made in the early 80's. 4 ebony points into birdseye maple. Veneers are red, black, red, black. All white is ivory except buttcap. 12 ivory inlays...4 on the bottom of each point, and 8 in the butt. Stainless steel 5/16x14 piloted joint. Single silver ring on joint. Cue has two original shafts that have not been played with since Tim refinished them over ten years ago. Ivory ferrules. One has a couple streaks from the ivory grain. Also have a Predator shaft made for this cue by Tim. Predator shaft is well used, and has a little roll, but nothing that will affect the playability. The butt is in very good condition. There is one decent ding in the buttsleeve, but I think it is just in the finish. I showed this in the second photo. A few other very small dings that are not very noticeable, unless you are looking very closely. Wrap is a little lighter toward the top inch or two, because of play.

The cue rolls straight. Shafts have a very small taper roll. When I rolled the butt, I had my head on the table and was about 4 inches from the cue.....and I saw a touch of light at one point. About the height of a piece of paper. I think 99.98% of people would list this cue as straight.

More specs:

Butt-15.97oz.

Shaft 1-4.15oz. 12.78mm

Shaft 2-4.09 12.75mm

Shaft 3 Predator shaft-3.68oz. 11.85mm

Balance point-18 inches from butt

You do not see many Scruggs cues for sale from this era! I know I do not hav to say it....but this cue is an awesome player!:)

sold with both original Scruggs shafts shipped and insured in conus!

sold shipped and insured in conus with 3 all 3 shafts!

Cash is king. Great cash and trade offers may be considered. I do know a couple people looking for a couple lower end cues, so cash and a couple cues might be considered.

veRY NICE.
Somebody should tell Timmy to stop staining his maple. Looks so good au natural.

I had an older 4pt. very similar to this, but mine was stained BEM. I like the naked one better myself.

That's a beauty, and a great price as well. Terrible market. I would have thought this would have been gone already. Good luck Ross!

Thank you guys :)

I have had some nice trade offers. Really looking for a cash deal....or maybe mostly cash and a couple low end cues like Joss, McDermott, Predator, Pechauer, etc.

Thanks.:)

A lot of nice trade offers, but would like a cash deal if possible. Will still listen to cash plus trade offers though.

Beautiful TS!

I have a question:scratchhead:
Engraved on the bat-end Logo may help to determine age of production?
Your cues TS, I saw another engraved TS...when they had changed?
also, there is another TS with nummber on the side, like 97 means mede in 1997...

Sorry for my English...:bow-down:
Could you understand what I am trying to ask you?
unrelated with your deal, but wonder if you have a knowledge:idea2:
thank you
TAD:wave3:

The logo means nothing

They used different logo's on Cues. This one looks older.
Nick :)
