whats happened to Mr. Ortmann over the last few years? dont see his name tossed around much anymore. Souquet, Hohmann, and Engert i see mentioned alot, but it seems like Oliver has disappeared.

anybody know why?
game just went downhill?
tired of traveling, and just competing in Europe?
actually he's 007 and on secret missions?
or he has no luck, and keeps throwing balls and cues?

just curious, he was always one of my favorites. i liked that stoic approach he took to the table, and told him this in Vegas back in 2001.

And this Wednesday he is playing in the World Cup in the UK. Team Germany is Oliver and Thomas Engert. Aside from Reyes and Bustamante they must be one of the favourites to win this new event.

He is the European Champion in both 8-ball and 14-1 this year, and only lost for Ralf Souquet in 9-ball, who won that Championship...

He finished 2nd in the Norwegian 9-ball Challenge in Summer, and he does perform well at the Eurotour.

He earned his IPT Tour Card 06 through a qualifier. Do not know why he wasn't a cardholder at the beginning...
