Ok since if i sell this i am going to take a beating on it and my back up cue didnt arrive I played this in a local weekly 9 ball toury. I have never played a Sumo tip and it was a bit harder than i am used to but I liked it. It had a nice firm hit sounded well and provided good feed back. Mikes shaft seemed to be a low deflection shaft for a standard maple shaft and the cue provided a firm solid hit with good feed back. It isnt a big toury about a dozen players 5 of which id classify as A player and the remainder as B players. I took thrid in the toury and my two losses went hill hill. I can not believe anyone that buys this cue will be disappointed. If it wasnt for my present medical condition i WOULD NOT be parting with this.

Omega/Mike
Bender cue The Omega butt was purchased
on AZ and was made in 1994, I sent the butt to Mike Bender and he
built two shafts, did the wrap and finish on the cue. the cue is
Brazilian Tulip wood into curly maple, the butt and shafts are
straight, and the shafts have ivory ferrels, and the pin is a copy
of an orginal Omega pin. Cue specs are;

58 in
Shaft 1- 3.6 oz
Shaft 2- 3.6 oz
13 mm, Sumo Tips
Butt- 15.4 ozs
Balence Point- 19.25 in

One shaft played 18 racks of 9 ball, no brakes. I figured if I am going to damn near give this cue away id play it. I played it in a weekly 9 ball toury at a local pub. I have never played Sumo tips and and it was a bit harder than I am used to. It did play well and provided a good sound with a good feel of what it would do, the shaft played solid with a stiff but controlled hit and feed back. Actually this is only the second cue ever that i was able to perform one of my warm up drills which is 1 ball one on the spot and one ball on both the first and second diamond in the center of the table lined up with the spot ball. Starting with the ball on the first diamond shooting it in the corner pocket drawing the cue ball back for the second ball to put in the same corner pocket and drawing the cue ball back enough to pocket the spot ball in the same corner pocket. I was able to do this the first time with this cue. I also took 3rd in the tourny which was a dozen people with 4 A players and the remainder B players. I lost the two I did lose hill hill due to being aced on leaves.

If I didnt have my present medical issue this cue WOULD NOT be for sale!!!

Illness forces sale at discounted price

It's sad that illness is forcing you to sell this. It's a beautiful cue and even though it isn't all Omega or all Bender it is well worth the price and will hit great. I hope someone that can buy it does. Good luck to you with the cue and health wise.

Thanks Chris, it is a sweet cue and since I am probably going to have to give it away I played it the other night in a local 9 ball toury, I took 3rd played 18 racks of nine ball with one shaft and the cue plays. My two losses were hill hill and due to being aced on leave cue ball in hand hurts.

Trade- Lambros

I would consider trading this for a Lambros,Prewitt or cue of like value. I also consider like value to be $1600.00 to the $2000.00 I have in this cue.

You do know that Bender was the main cue maker at Omega, right?
