This is a curly maple and tulip wood 1994 Omega butt that I purchased here on AZ. Mike Bender finished the cue building 2 shafts that have Ivory ferrels and Sumo med tips, it has a black linen wrap and the cue is straight and one shaft has been test hit only.

Specs:
58 inches
Balence Point- 19.25 in
2 Shafts, 13mm
Weight Butt- 15.4 oz
Shaft 1- 3.6 oz
Shaft 2- 3.6 oz

Mike did not make the butt and according to Mike his brother was no longer at Omega when this butt was built either. That leaves DPK or ?. The points do not line up perfectly but it is still a sweet cue and the butt is 17 yrs old. I am going through some medical issues and will let this go for $1800.00 plus shipping and if it is paid by paypal you will need to add 4 percent.

Doesnt seem to be much interest i may end up playing this this friday.

Sorry money must be very tight these cue's usually sell quickly. If I were you I would also post a photo showing the cues Pin, don't know for certain but it may help with your sale.

Good Luck with your sale.

Thanks, I know the market is tight and I will probably end up playing and keeping this cue at this point. Here is a picture of the pin and some comments on it. I was hoping to sell this and pick up a cheaper cue under my current circumstances.

Structurally, the pin is the same as the orig omega pins with the exception of the rounded top. The TPI, ID and OD are the same. However, the pin was made by a machine shop and these particular pins were comissioned to be made by Esoteric Cues (scdiveteam) within the last decade some time. The pin is actually brass, dipped in chrome. Hope this helps.

I believe who made these butts has already been cleared up in one of the many threads regarding these 'estate find' butts. Not sure, but I do believe it was made clear it wasn't DPK.

Good looking stick anyway!

Yea I know who didnt make the butt just not who did, but it is an Omega butt and it was finished by Mike Bender so it still has some history.

I never saw any treads any where that stated that DPK didnt have any input into he butts. I am not saying he did but if Mike Bender did not and Matt Bender did not and Joe Hernandez did not , who did?

I will entertain any reasonable offer, I have not played this cue yet, I have test hit one shaft. This is a nice cue the butt was done in 1994 and the completed cue was done by Mike Bender on June 6th. I have had some medical issues that has forced me to let some things go. You will like this cue.

Respectfully
Randy

Id like to keep this Omega but i have some medical obligations and John Bender is building this cue for me now. If i seel this Omega I can pay Jogn have a cue and pocket alitle bit of money. This is a sweet Omega butt finished by Mike Bender it is straight and as close to an orginal Omega as you can get.

Plenty of History for me!!

wish I could have helped. I know just how expensive (name brand cue makers ) are . Good choice too!! I remember all the information . This is top notch cue and will be a great Player. It is a shame (that a lack of education seems to come from (these slow times. good luck mark.

Thanks Mark, I am sure it will be a great playing cue and also has some history. If I end up keeping it it wont really bother me just sort of pinch the budget.

On ebay listing # 180687400715, $1500.00 starting price and a low reserve, cue is new one shaft has been test hit only.

Have some poeple watching this on ebay but no one has bid yet. This is as close to a new Omega as you can get, I know the market is depressed but this is a deal for someone.

Well I picked up a cheap cue off of ebay so that I wont play this. There are some good deals in AZ now. This is one of the good deals maybe not the best deal but the cue is unplayed and has history.
