Hello ,

I found a Cue at Omega Billiards that is one of their house brand Cues I am Assuming, This one a Balabushka design and it looks like a nice cue for the money. I have never heard of them and did not know if anyone knew if they are of decent quality or just cheap knockoff's . here is the link - https://www.omegabilliards.com/OMEGA_25_p/1967.htm

Any of those own brand things are "knockoffs" meaning they are made in a standard factory in China that would make cues for 10 other names. I'd guess in the same range as Players, Action, etc.. cues.

Chines cues. Made pretty well. Look, just have a good cuemaker make you a 'bushka cue.I don't get the obsession with the ADAM versions.

They're a legitimate retailer, I've bought a few things from them. In my experience with sticks that cheap is that they usually hit fine, but the wraps always come undone extremely fast, but the ones without wraps are decent.

itll play just fine with a good shaft and the right tip. the shaft you get with these cues are not great, the grain isn't straight and the wood is forced treated in an oven, hence the popularity of LD shafts and the pie constructions and what bring more "consistency" in the cue. you can literally use a broom stick for the butt, put a good shaft on it and youll be alright, balnce might be a little off, but you get points for being unique.

I've had a couple and the shafts have a tendency to warp over time. My suspicion (and I don't profess to know for sure) is that the cheap Chinese cues are made with newer growth maple that has not been aged. So the wood can still "move" on you. Someone who understands this better than me can explain this phenomena
