let me clarify ...

brazilian rosewood is a dark wood so to bring out the patterns, i use a flash that reflects off the interior of the wood ... hence the bright colors and patterns ...

but when you hold the cue, under either the table lights or sunlight, you can very easily see these patterns ...

under normal flash photography, however, the whole handle just looks dark ...
 
Barenbrugge

Beautiful pics Kam. It's hard to take pics of Barenbrugge's work because it's so tiny and detailed. His wood choices are incredible along with his craftsmanship. Plus, he (and his wife) are incredibly genuine and nice. Very happy to see his stuff available here in the US now. He does amazing work. Thanks for taking the time to share pics. Congrats!
