I have been in Nashville for the JOB tournment and have been stuck in the room with a back ache except the 5 or 6 hours I was there yesterday, laying across 3 bar stools talking to Barry Bartrum, my back is terrible, I'm flying to my LA house tomarrow and staying in bed,
I want to be clear on one thing I have no dislike for tooth, we didnt get a bet down, so what? there is awalys next time, one thing is for sure I wont turn this into a circus act if we dont get something done after the next meeting, i'm not gonna chase him down(he has one more chance), there is a new Sheriff in town-he needs to step up to me. i'll be sure to bring 3 body guards instead of one and some real money not 40 and change the first night and a bit under 100 the rest of the time, it will be reala $$$, if anyone thinks they are gonna roll me up for it get ready to get shot, we had 2 guns in that room the whole time and I didnt have $$$ on me except in the video and I didnt know the camera was rolling, ihave my guys carry the loot, but next time we'll need a trunk to carry it. i would have had 100+ but I bought a Bushka, something about 5 veneer Spain blanks I cant say no to. I'm done talking bout my $$$ cause it does upset some people here and thats not my intent, I would like to be liked and respected by everyone, as I like and respect EVERYONE in pool, if you dont like me man up PM me and we'll talk about it. I cant be fairer than that, i will personally listen to all my critics, they deserve my time and respect.

IT was very nice what you said Fat Boy I will call Bucktooth and tell him tomorrow It might cheer him up he sounds Bad on the phone. I hope your feeling better to....God Bless everyone we have lost so many great people it just seems everybody is getting older fast.

I look at it like this I made an offer for a bet he didnt like it and that is fair enough, I did walk up to him at the Keno board asnd watched for a few minutes and just before I walked away I wispered in his ear "No disrespect" he looked at me in a affirminative way and that was that. All this talk here is fun and I just chose to avoid it, I didnt even read but 5% of it. Tooth nor I need the $$$ were adversarys but yet if either one of us didnt exist where would the other guy be? There is a book called "Stragity in poker, business and war" its almost 60 years old and one of the concepts is if you dont have a adversary or enimy then what do you have in your game no matter what it is so you need the people who you are at war with, I'm a careing person and if he is infact sick then yeah i'm concerned, if he isnt and is pulling a move its a weak one at best, it isnt cool to fake an illness to gain an edge and I will lose my respect for himn, and yes I respect him as he does me. you have to respect your enimy or advesary, look at the tip poker players, with the passing of Chip Reese who busted alot of them, they all had only good things to say of him. necessary enimys are a part of the group of people we choose to associate with.
But no matter what I'm the new Sheriff in town. I'm not a one trick pony and will carry the day until I leave pool again, Years ago I was a little known rail bird/player not any more, I'm far far from being a top player but I'm action, a charcter(something pool needs badly) and my goal is to be loved/respected/tollerated I hope no one hates me, if you do please confront me.
I will carry the day and I will be in the 10 ball ring game next year and anything else I can manage, I'm trying to get a deal with TAR to come play in SD every 3-6 months if there are enough buys, big $$$ and me getting a big spot. I came to Nashville to play Bartrum but my back is to bad to play period. you can bet that I will be fun to watch in action I talk to the balls, rail, etc not to shark who I'm playing if I bother them I shut up, I'm a gentalman to play. Eric's goal is to make "Fatboy" a household name in pool, give pool a shot in the arm and show people that anyone can have fun playing pool. I been around pool since 85 dropped out of the "scene" for 10 years but still played 6 of the 10 I was off the radar, when I came back I wanted to do something other than be a rail bird and unknown player. Its not an ego thing, i swear on my moms grave its to show people pool is fun, and anyone can make it fun.
