I played with the cue one night before I retipped it with a Moori Medium III. The cue plays unbelievable.

Hi Duane:

Yes indeed, a very rare solid Ivory joint by Harris. The ring work is also Ivory. The tops of the joint protectors are Ivory with scrimed horses. He does not do that for very many cues. Best regards.

Nice Woods

Really nice! When I first saw Amboyna Burl it was into a coco forearm so I had Dayton make me a four pointer but into ebony. Very nice wood and a beautiful piece here.

I have a similar one as well, except that it's amboyna into gaboon ebony, and it's not as fancy without the ivory joint and JPs.

When you have wood this nice you don't need a lot of inlays to make it stand out. It's a sweet Blue Grass cue and I really like the Amboyna Burl wood. I hope to own a cue soon with Amboyna Burl.......
