I have looked this up in the BCA rule book but the response is unclear.

I illegally pocket a ball in the side pocket. My question is do I continue shooting, untill I get shape for my pocket, (understood that all the balls illegally pocketed will be spotted). And then if I make a ball in my pocket can I continue with illegal shots?

The only time you ever shoot again is if you make a legal ball in your pocket and then you continue shooting until you fail to make one in your pocket.It's not illegal to pocket a ball in the side, it just doesn't count for either's score and is spotted back up once your inning is over. If you also make a ball in your own pocket at the same time as the ball in the side then yes, you continue shooting. If you never made one in your pocket then your inning is over and the ball in the side is spotted.

Only if in pocketing that ball you made one in your pocket . Then at the end of your inning that ball go's on the spot .

The only way you can continue to shoot is if you legally pocket a ball in your pocket.

If you make a ball in either of the side pockets or the breaking end corner pockets, you turn stops and those balls are spotted.

See rule 2. Specifically, player "remains(s) at the table until failing to pocket a ball in the target pocket on a legal shot."

BCA RULES OF PLAY

  1. A legal shot requires that the cue ball contact an object ball and then (1) pocket a numbered ball, or (2) cause the cue ball or any numbered ball to contact a cushion. Failure to do so is a foul.
  2. A legally pocketed ball in a target pocket entitles shooter to remain at the table until failing to pocket a ball in the target pocket on a legal shot. Player may choose to shoot any object ball, any ball pocketed in the target pocket on an otherwise legal stroke is a scored ball.
  3. Balls pocketed in the four non-target pockets are "Illegally Pocketed Balls."
  4. Balls pocketed by a shooter in an opponent's target pocket are scored for the opponent, even if the stroke was a foul, but would not count if the cue ball should scratch or jump the table. However, if the stroke is not a foul and the shooter pockets a ball(s) in both target pockets, the shooter's inning continues, with all legally pocketed balls scored to the appropriate player. If a shooter pockets a ball that brings the opponent's score to the number opponent needed to win the game, the shooter has lost unless the cue ball scratches or jumps off the table.
  5. When a player has the cue ball in hand behind the head string (as after a scratch) and all object balls are also behind the head string, the object ball nearest the head string may be spotted upon request. If two or more balls are an equal distance from the head string, the highest numbered ball is spotted.
  6. Three successive fouls by the same player is loss of game.

I would think that you would lose your turn on any illegal shot which would be a foul and you should be penalized the loss of a ball. Pocketing a ball in any other pocket other that your pocket is not an illegal shot, just a loss of turn. An illegal shot is something that would be considered a foul. ( push shot, double hit, etc.)
