Had this cue for a year. Like it a lot. Still unable to identify it...
Unknown cue
It hits a bit softer than stainless, which I like.
It played nicely with the original shaft, but even better with an OB Classic.
I sent pics to a number of cue makers. Most didn't respond. One said, "I only identify cues I make"...that didn't help much.
The most helpful were Barry Szamboti and Richard Black. Barry said he was 98% sure his dad didn't make it, and was sure it wasn't a Balabushka, or Palmer, but perhaps a Paradise.
Richard thought Paradise, but said he needed to see an x-ray to be sure. I sent him an x-ray and he said no, not a Paradise or Balabushka.
Both Barry and Richard, and Mike Massey and Tommy Kennedy (who played with it briefly) were impressed with the quality.

I would have been astounded to think anyone would think it's a Paradise. I've never seen a 1.5 inch delrin buttplate with rubber bumper coming from him. I've also never seen a Paradise cue with Bushka joint rings with a brass joint. Surely Barry had to be kidding.

I used to play some in Gainesville, played Furber and Grossman down there to name a couple. Early to mid 90's though. Loved Panama Joe's for pool and the Silver Q to party a little while knocking a few around.
Good friends with TK from FLA as well, he's been a house guest of mine on 2 or 3 occasions.

I agree with most others on here,I think it is a great looking old school cue-timeless design. HOPEFULLY it was made as a bushka tribute cue and not made in the 80's after The Color of Money as a genuine Balabushka.
On a side note-a funny but unfortunately true quote I remember Bill Schick telling me years ago

Fedunka?
Probably not a Verl Horn...it's 57 1/2", Horns were 58". Also it's piloted and Horns were flat-faced.
I've heard of Fedunka, but can find nothing about him. Is (was?) he the guy who bought Balabushkas equipment?

I doubt it was Fedunka, he was of an earlier era than this cue appears. The points on most Fedunka cues are much shorter than this one. I believe Pete Tascarella aquired Balabushka's equipment, though I don't know if it was all of it.
