I'm glad you all like the cue. Jim took down my specs and BAM! I'll let you all know really soon how it plays. I'm pretty sure I already know though. He does some great work and is a great guy to talk to and deal with. Thanks for working hard to get this baby done and looking gorgeous Jim!!

This cue looks great and should play great as well. My second Baxter cue order is in the build process as I type. Enjoy your new cue.

I know what you mean. I saw your cue, sent a pm, and an hour later I was sent a build sheet. This is my 33rd birthday present to myself. I hope my 34th will be a Jim Baxter cue, with a full years time to work it out.

Looking like it's gonna be here Thursday. Jim made mention that those that took a few strokes with it wanted to keep it. It's safe to say that I'm pretty stoked. I've never shot with a dufferin conversion nor a 60" cue. Look out pool hall!

I really like that. I've never shot with a Duff conversion, but I like how they look. Especially the ebony/butterfly combo, just like this one. But, I did purchase a cue that was 59 1/2" long without realizing it. Took a little (very little) getting used to, but, now I own the 59 1/2, and two 60's. Feels like I'm using a toy if I pick up a 57...

Again, beautiful cue. Good luck with it...

I just started here not too long ago. Otherwise I would also. Hehehe. My league playoffs ran too late plus they were at a bar so I didn't even get to shoot with it. I have my whole evening tonight though. I bet I leave work just a tad early anyway. Hehehe.

This cue is amazing. It hits great and the feel is outstanding. It is a little different using a 60" cue but honestly it feels a little more natural. Being only a little taller than average I had a lot of cue makers tell me that a longer cue would. So far I agree. Great work Jim!! Thanks for a great playing cue!

Very interested.. Was the butterfly ivory? And how much do these go for?
