Jay..... by any chance did you ever get the chance to play a guy from the Salem/Peabody Mass. area named Nicky Vlahos.....He was on the road for a few years back in the 70's i believe. Was just wondering if you ever got to play him is all. His nickname was the "INDIAN"............mike

I knew Nicky, but never played him. He was a strong player, capable of running 100's at 14.1, and an 'A' level 9-Baller. Nice guy who would gamble. Played with people like Larry Lisciotti, Mike Zuglan, Allen Hopkins and Jim Rempe. I think he was in his mid to late 40's when he passed away.

Hawaiian Brians

Thrasher,

Hawaiian Brians is located at 1680 Kapiolani Blvd. Near the intersection of Kapolani and Atkinson, it is located upstairs in a parking garage right alongside a 24hr Fitness. Some pretty high speed players frequent the place, and you can normally get a game pretty easy on one of the back row tables. Brian is quite often in there as well. Aloha open is scheduled for April 21st.

It is easy to miss. You can not see it from the street. You have to go up the ramp of the parking structure and start looking. It is worth the trip. Lots of smoke and lots of action. Shaka.
