One of Two 6 Veneer Scruggs Cues Ever Made on eBay

Love that cue! Man, I need a higher paying job (or my wife does)!!

Mike: When are you gonna get a website up and running? Save those E-bay fees!

I do that too

I have taken Scruggs veneer cues in trade for nicer higher end Scruggs cues and everyone is always happy. How do you beat that!!!.. It seems when you play with a Scruggs you always want to get a fancier one or two!
Thanks
Nick :)
Oh ya Nice cue!

Hello

Is this cue worth the asking price? Seems rather on the high side. I think it is a very nice cue. Simple. But very nice.

However scruggs 4 pointer veneer seems to have a big variation in terms of price. Is 2 more veneers really adding so much to the value?

I think this is a nice cue. Just looking for an opinion.

Best regards
Chris

Tim Scruggs cues

Tim's shop makes fantastic cues. Tried one out someone I know bought in the early nineties and was truly impressed. Took me a few more years, but I finally went down to Baltimore one Saturday morning in '95 and spent about 45 minutes discussing what I wanted. Six months later I got the call, "Your cue is done". The next day, I drove down to the shop to get my very own, one of a kind (designed by me), Tim Scruggs custom cue. From the first ball I hit right there in the shop with my new cue, I knew I made a great choice in having my cue made there. Still play with it, whenever I can find the time, never enough though!

Chris:

Scruggs' cues start at $1,900.00, and you would have to wait at least 9 months for him to make you one. This is 1 of 2 cues ever made with 6 veneers, that makes it rare. Rare = more valuable in my opinion. The cue is a bargain at $1,825.00.

Hello Mike

i didn't know whats Tim is charging for his cue. Yours is nice. Hope you sell it soon.

I am sure there are many people who will agree that Tim Scruggs makes nice good hitting cues though i have tried a few scruggs somehow i was more impressed with his no veneer cues. I did come a cross some rare ones with veneers that hits amazing but are never for sale. And i think Tims 5/16-14 piloted steel joint cues are the best hitting compared to most other cues that i have tried.

Never tried a balabushka though.

I was never implying that you over value your cue. I think it is a good looking cue and if it hits as great as it looks than the price is a steal.

Best regards
Chris

is this cue still available?
