This is a great match to view and learn about the strategy in one pocket.

Jeremy and I seem to have some good chemistry in the booth and his knowledge of one pocket is superb. It was a lot of fun doing commentary with him. This was at last year's Galveston World Classic and the match is between Efren Reyes and Shannon Daulton.

I enjoy commentary when the two commentators don't mind stretching themselves by making predictions of what the players will do as well as suggesting what they SHOULD do. Jeremy and I had lots of these type discussions in this match.

Hi Joey-

Hmmm...Ironic, prophetic

I am new to 1P. A week ago, some elder statesmen in my local room who have noted my struggle with moving concepts-suggested this very video match.

It is great. The commentary is great. I will watch it again. You and JJ worked well together.

As they said to me-that AZ guy JoeyA is commentating-apparently he plays some pretty good 1P. Shsssh.

I just thot the timing of your post, and the timing of the recommendation to me was interesting.

Btw.... I think many of us appreciate your obvious love and passion for the game(s) and your heart felt posts on a variety of topics, including backing up friends and causes that are catching heat.

One of my favorite matches to watch and listen.

Another fun one pocket match to watch is this Scott Frost vs. Gabe Owen, commentary by JoeyA and Danny Harriman. The quality of their play is varying, but it's entertaining match to watch nevertheless.

Was this a challenge match for some dough?

Danny's game of one pocket is up there with all the big boys but I think Straight Pool is his main squeeze with banks a short bump behind.

this is the first pool video i fell in love with!

efren is so charming, so self-effacing. the 'i was lucky' demeanor.

plus the shots! watching those guys was a postgraduate education! conducted by the phd of one-pocket ... joey a! ok, maybe you have just a masters!

i so enjoyed the commentary -- quiet and wise -- that drew out the inside info from your sidekicks.
