I started a thread about some one pocket books before and this was one of the books mentioned.

The guy wont send me a picture of what the book looks like so I pulled my bid, maybe someone else will have better luck.
That's certainly Eddie Robin's "Shots, Moves and Strategies." I don't think you need a picture, but you could ask the guy what version of the book he has, since there were at least three, I think: plain, with facsimile signatures, and lizard skin bound with real signatures, For the plain version, prices run from $100 to $200, typically. The current price is towards the upper end of that range.

I'm dying to get this book, but I can't find it for < $200 anywhere... :-( There has to be some kind of way where it could be published online or very inexpensively... I can't imagine the publisher or Eddie Robbins is making any money on not publishing it..

Hi Bob,

My question would be, why not post a pic of the book?

The bidder only sets themselves up for disappointment when they receive the book and it isn't like they hoped.

I guess my other question would be, why no reply to asking for a pic?

Some people don't have scanners or digital cameras or the knowledge to post a picture to eBay. This is the first item that seller has ever sold, but he has a 100% rating from the people he has bought from. That's slightly scary. He does accept Paypal, which I consider a plus. The Shipping/Handling is a little high, since he could get a Priority flat-rate box for $8.05. As for the non-reply, it might have gotten lost in his spam filter or he might be out of town.

To me, it looks like a first-time seller who is legit although over-priced.

Robin told me that he'd love to still be publishing the books. However there was a legal wrangle going on, and evidently the publisher has refused to sell the rights or to put out new printings. Eddie believed that the books should sell in the $60-$70 range.
