One Pocket in Prescott, AZ.

George Ramirez won it. He had a real fight in the finals from Chris Adams. Adams won the first set of the finals 3-1, but George's all offense style allowed him to take control of the second set and cruise to a 3-0 win.

By the way, I ran the tournament and was very pleased with the turn-out. Day one had some hiccups, but day two was great.

I'd have loved to have went, but the band I play with had a gig. I'm glad it went well, as I'd like to see more Arizona one pocket tournaments. Thanks for the update.

Sorry I didn't make it Mike, you know I wanted to be there. I'll be at the next 2 tourneys for sure. I'm the worst one pocket player in the world anyway, I woulda just embarrassed myself. How many players were there, btw? Peace.

John, you can't be the worst one-pocket player in the world. I think I hold that honor. But, I did win one game against my first opponent and two against my second. We had 23 players which is not bad for one-pocket at all.

It sure was fun watching Ramirez play. Ed Scott played extremely well too.

Howdy,
I am surprised.I did not know George Ramirez could play one pocket that well to win a tournament. He is a good money player in 9 ball.May be he learned all the moves and three rail shots from George Theyachaiah(A good money player from Tucson)
Did `waitor Tom`play? Cheers to Ramirez
