I would say Richard Grenier in Santa Monica, especially if you want to be taught by a real player (which is my philosophy). I dont know if he gives lessons though.
If you just want intermediate level, Wayne Norcross can be used. I dont think he has a deep understanding of one pocket though, which is why id try to work something out with Richard if possible.

I 2nd Richard Grenier. Also, Daniel Wallace in San Diego...he does not play much anymore, but knows one pocket having placed 7th (or thereabouts) at Derby.

Yes, he will give those lessons (gotten a couple myself
). You probably couldn't twist his arm into the other kind though.
