One Pocket Run

I had my highest one pocket run today and was wondering how it matched up against the most you have seen/done. We were betting pretty good and I was giving 12-8. I ran 12 & out my first trip to the table, made a ball on break and ran 5 more for an 18 ball run. Its the highest I've done or seen. however, I don't get out of my area much, so I'm sure there is a lot of very high runs.

In the One Pocket Challenge, the best I've seen was Alex running fifteen and out twice in a row. In a gambling match, I saw Ronnie Allen run ten and out three games in a row. So both of these totaled thirty balls run. Ronnie's happened in a match, so I rate it higher.

I also saw Harold Worst run all twenty one balls in a 21 ball rack for money. That is a full rack of 15 balls with a sixth row (and 6 more balls) added on. That may have been the single most impressive run I ever saw.

That's mighty meaty ! :D for any area.

Unless it's a specified type format like the DCC, I don't believe you can carry over your 12 and your 5. New break doesn't count, you're thinking more straight pool than one pocket.

12 is a very nice run. I have a run up of half that and I was excited.

Back in the sixties I made a ball on the break and ran all fifteen balls. I then broke and made another one on the break and ran fourteen and missed an easy straight in ball two feet from the pocket. Total of 29. It was cheap gambling with me giving up a spot. I think I was going to twelve and I just continued shooting. I was playing the house man in San Mateo, Ca.
