the shot is "Jersey Red's" terrible takeout
shot down the long rail instead of across the short rail...
The first time I saw it, I was the "VIC-TUM" of it
the shot is hit the exact same way down the long rail or across the short rail,
the cue ball//object ball and pocket all must be in-line (or almost)
no left or right, only force follow or drag to get the cue ball to stay in the correct place.
"Bugs" Rucker had another variation of this shot, but it was never captured on film//camera, again the first time I saw it, I was the "VIC-TUM" of it...
"Bugs" shot used some throw to achieve the same shot from further off the shot track.
