Why don't you try posting this in the tournament section.....where it belongs.

Maybe because this isn't just another 8ball bar table tournament.

This is a rare 1pocket tournament, at one of the premiere rooms in the country. Those of us that play 1pocket appreciate seeing it posted here, vs the tournament section which few frequent.

I've played in several of John's events and they are always worth the trip: they are run professionally, the equipment is immaculate, the fields are solid, there is great food and drink, and plenty of camaraderie from the home crew. Sometimes exceptions are in order.

Any streaming of this event?

Love to watch one pocket!

Good question.

Red Shoes always has multiple live cameras on UStream. I don't know about the particulars of this event, though (which tables, which commentators, etc).

I'll be watching anyway, for sure.

Yea...I know it is going on during the "Southern Classic". I wasn't trying to "cross swords" with them.....it just happened that way. Anyhow....short of "Ike and Chris" (maybe a few others), it is mainly a "local player" (who wouldn't normally attend the CLASSIC anyhow) event. So....for those who won't leave the midwest because of time or PAROLE considerations....stop in.

Nice post Lou. It is a great run tourney and a great place to play pool in Chicago area. I'd love to donate again, but my kid has baseball playoffs Saturday :)

Here are a few of the cameras that are set up.

Table 1: http://ustre.am/OaVz
Table 2: http://ustre.am/OaWW
Table 3: http://ustre.am/OaXg
Table 4: http://ustre.am/OaXG

Table 5 http://ustre.am/OaXT ;
Table 6: http://ustre.am/OaY3;
Table 7: http://ustre.am/OaYx.

The first four tables are over by the pro side, starting at the cash register.

Table 7 is on the other side near the bathroom, and 6 and 5 move towards the front.

No commentary but there should be some streaming going on.

Ditto about Lou's post. I'm going to watch on Saturday so that soon I can begin donating with terminal embarrassment.

1st/2nd SPLIT...John Rawski-Sergio Perez...3rd Mark Pratico...4th Jason Richardson CONGRATULATIONS EVERYBODY!

John's back in form huh? Good for him. Sorry I missed the action.

John joined our straight pool league and he is tied for first in the loss column with Tom Karabatsos and Bobby Hunter. All three of them have one loss so far.

John had a 55 ball run last week and is running 30s and 40s frequently. I get to see him up close and personal this Thursday when we play our match.:o
