Well first off I finished 9-12 losing to Cliff Joyner and Ronnie Allen.

Scott Frost won the $6000 ring game last night and then tried to clean out the Casino and overslept his winners side match with Shannon. He then lost to Vince Tadesco (who I beat in the second round).

Shannon beat Cliff Joyner 4-0 on the winner side and is in the hot seat.

Besides Vince there are 3 others left on the losers Joyner, Ike Runnels (from NY) and Marcos Marquez.

Scott Frost didn't show up for a match? Maybe he got confused and thought it was the US Open 9ball event.

Thanks for the update and congrats on the tournament. Who was in the ring game? was it 10 ball?

Saw the cliff and shannon match it was a real treat.

Must have been a classic. Were they daring or conservative in their play?

I only caught the last 2 games, in the last game Cliff went for a cut shot and rattled the ball and Shannon proceeded to run out.

Yes it was 10 ball and it is covered in the main event when you log in to AZ. It came down to Dave Hemmah and Scott. Hemmah won one game then it was all in for Hemmah and Scott got a ball in hand and ran out.

I don't think you would ever see a conservative match with these two playing both shoot lights out and go for just about anything that is available.

I found out what really happened to Scott at the US Open. He actually did get lost on his way from the pool hall to the convention center. According to our mutual friend who was with Scott, Scott has traveled that road before, but it is apparently very easy to go the wrong way on the freeway...and Scott did. He left in time, but arrived late.

Just to clear the record...for the Open anyway---not for Vegas it seems....sigh.

Thanks, Jeff. Scott's a wonderful player, I hope he works it all out, so he can maximize his performance in top-flight competition.
