Hope you sell them, I might have to give them a try. Just a thought, a pic of a cue with a newly installed "ONE" tip would do wonders for your ad ;)

Just doing a quick search, Muellers sells ultra skin tips for $7ea., so first off your math isn't very good for starters. Second, UltraSkin tips are 9 layer tips made out of pigskin, not cow leather, so your knowledge is about as good as your math. Please move along and do your homework first before trying to bash someone else's post. Thank you!

Ultraskins direct are 27.50 for ten, delivered. Now who's math is bad?

Please also add a little description what you are trying to achieve with your tips or what you are doing differently.

23$ is a *lot* and you're in Tiger Onyx price range.

As for cow or pig, I'm playing water buffalo and camel leather - I really don't care as long as it's a good tip :p

Cheers,
M

We aren't trying to reinvent the tip. We are simply asking the consumer to compare our style quality and price, as well as our service to the leading tips in the industry. They are also made in the USA. I don't know of many USA made premium leather tips out there. Tiger Onyx might demand those prices, but I can't name one person I know who uses one.

I will post close up pics of the layers as best I can with an iPhone 7 later this evening.

"ONE" Premium Tip Review !

First Off, I would like to say this is my personal opinion on these tips. I have installed lots of tips over the years by hand as well as on my cue lathes. I let a couple other players hit them as well just to hear there feedback. As you see in the picks, these tips came in the original container and look amazing installed. Packaging was great as well as fast shipping.

1st - Tips felt good to the touch, no separation in the layers and all 12 of them were uniformed.
2nd - Tips all measured 13.09mm. Which is fine, but lots of people out here have 13mm shafts which make it difficult for the average Joe to put on this tip unlike a tip that's 14mm.
3rd - Once tip was installed, it adhered to ferrule very nicely and evenly as well to fiber pads on my other shafts.
4th - Trimming this tip was perfect. (S-M) .Trimmings came off evenly and perfectly.
5th - Shaping the tip was perfect and even.
6th - Burnishing the tip came out excellent. Pictures don't to justice.
7th - Soft tip felt great if you like the soft hit. had great feel and action.
8th - MED tip felt on the softer side. Felt good and action has pretty descent.

Conclusion: 7.5 out of 10 rating.

Only a couple cons in my opinion. Tips should be 14mm and Med should be harder.
Other than that, It was a great tip installation wise and to play with especially the soft. I am waiting to try the HARD once they come in.

Awesome review! Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. To offset one of your "cons", we are already one step ahead of you and have changed them to 14mm already. Once the "new batches" are released, they will no longer be 13mm, but rather 14mm from now on. We too shared your same thoughts on this matter. Thank you again!

I have a question.
What makes your tips worth $23? Why would I choose your tip over other leading brands? I can get G2 tips for $18 shipped. Dealer's prices are lower. And those are proven by many to be GREAT tips. Same goes for Zan tips, Navigator tips, Kamui Tan, Kamui Original.
Pig skin vs cow skin? What difference does it really make? If there is a difference, please explain.
Also, per your your quote, if you are "simply asking the consumer to compare our style quality and price", perhaps price should be adjusted so people can try.
So far your tips are priced higher than leading brands.
And yes, they are made in US. Ok, fine. But, how does that justify premium price?
New products on market usually come at discounted price so consumers can have a taste.

I Agree with you. But even the G2 had to start somewhere. That's why I bought a dozen tips off the bat which made it $10 a tip. Now the reason I bought so many up front is, I do cue repairs and will sell them eventually. On your note, I agree with you when all is said and done being $20 a tip when no one has heard of it.

is a fiber pad included because in the first pics I didn't see that on either end of the tip?

Our product price is based on the quality of the item we are presenting to the market, which is at a competitive price to many others out there right now, including your G2 tips. Many factors are involved when setting a price, many of which I have already previously mentioned. These tips are a higher quality leather and different for most of the others on the market. If they were pigskin like 90% of the others, then you would have a more valid point, but they are not. US production costs are also much higher than other countries as well. All I can say is to give one a try and see for yourself, otherwise we can debate it till we're blue in the face with not much more accomplished.

You still did not answer ANY of the questions.
1. Pig skin vs cow skin? What difference does it really make? If there is a difference, please explain.
3. "These tips are a higher quality leather and different for most of the others on the market.
How different are they? What makes them different?
This is my last post on here.
You seem frustrated for some reason.
As a customer, I have questions and do not want to pay high price for some tip that nobody knows. And there seems to be a problem with answering questions. Your answers are very general.
