One Rule

Would it not be nice if all rotation games, and all 8 ball games had the exact same rules world wide. They don't golf with different rules in Africa as they do in Australia and Japan, they all play by the PGA rules. I know the cocktail and whining/wineing aspect of our game demands its own ego, but isn't the game bigger that someones personal agenda in their gang tagged....cat spritzed walls....of opinion????

Actually golf has variations for match or medal play.
And most ,if not all,courses have local rules.I hit a 545 yd par 5 with a
drive and an 8 iron once in a tournament.Found out later it was illegal
to cut the dog-leg over the next fairway.:frown:

And I like the fact that the rules are in flux.I hate the WPA 10-ball rules.
Also prefer American snooker rules over the WPBSA rules.
And I wouldn't like to see APA 8-ball rules prevail.

If they keep changing maybe the cream will rise to the top.

As for whining,you should listen at a locker room after a golf handicap
tournament.
Golf is where I first heard the term 'sandbagging'.
