One Shaft or Two

I would want the same tip and agree with Tom, Wizard tips are where it's at! I had a Wizard that came on my Olney and recently put one on my Jacoby shaft after being unhappy with the Everest tip thst came on it. Reconfirmed my suspicion that I really love the Wizard tip! Feels nice and great control.

Gotta have multiple shafts. You don't wanna be out of action when one fails.

I think different tips are fin, preferred even, for me. I liked to keep them slightly different, some primes the feel with one is betters than the othe and I like the option to change if I am not feeling it one day...

Had a Richard Black and a Scruggs, both w/two shafts. Never chalked the second on either. Got used to one and never used the other.

Why not? :shocked2:

I do have to use several shafts, cause my cuemaker has built me some special ones:
1st for stop shots
2nd for follow shots
3rd for draw shots
4th for left english
5th for right english

Now I found out, I will need 4 more:
for high right, high left, low right and low left... :killingme::rotflmao1:

Hahaha

Pool will become like golf - a different cue for each shot. :grin-square:

Always have two shafts with any cue that's important to you and with customs, sometimes even more. My Owens cue was made with 3 shafts and my Prewitt cue has 4 shafts ( 2 original and 2 being made right now). The shafts have different weights and sizes.

I hope u have a uni-lock joint....lol

Two shafts is the minimum I carry in my case for one cue. Murphys law has a tendency to come in to effect, when I least need it... shit happens, tips fly off, ferrules can crack etc.

Another pointless con in american pool.

Why? I have had tips come off when gambling and in tournaments and the ability to put a different shaft on, as opposed to playing with a completely different cue, is well worth the cost of admission.
