One thing I love about Japan

one of my things to do before i die

when i was younger and fighting,it was my dream to go to japan and fight in K-1.
didn't happen but i still want to visit japan before i die.

My father was the Expo 70. He left his camera in the train. He came back the next day to find it.
It was still in the seat he left it in.

I spent 3 years in Tokyo back in the late 80's. I loved every minute of it and would love to return someday. I really regret not keeping in touch with the Japanese friends that I made. Maybe I can talk Tokyo dave into looking a few people up for me:)

If your friends are English speaking Japanese with ties to the local foreign community, it's possible to put a free add in the Tokyo Met. English edition here.

Do either of you speak Japanese? I am just about to start learning and have bought some CD-ROM lessons i.e. Rosetta Stone and some others. If you speak it, how did you learn?

It's great that there isn't crime there like there is here, I just got back from Hawaii and the crime there is unbelievably bad.

I speak a fair amount, if you ever have questions...

I read a skateboarding magazine that had an article about a Japan Tour. They said, "This country is so awesome. No one steals things. If you walked into a store and took something, they wouldn't even chase you wehn you walked out. They would think you were gonna come back and return it."

I always liked the idea of that.

May be, they don`t have crack/cocaine/crystalmeth there.
