Best online pool that I've seen. The only gripe I have with it is that the aim lines don't extend to the pocket. Not sure if the aim lines are there when you play another player. If they aren't that would be another draw back. It's too hard to aim online simulations of pool. They should be about position and aiming should be automatic. Speed control is very easy to use and ball movement seems realistic.
Not too bad. I'll probably try it again sometime.
 
hi guru probably best to use internet explorer or netscape if any one has problems getting into the pool rooms uninstall java then try to come into room this will then auto install older version seems to work better .......................thanks guys stay cool play pool
 
I had to go check it out. It's like a 1980's style 2D (only look from above the table) game. Worst computer pool game I've seen in 15 years.

Virtual Pool 3 is getting old now but it is still the best.
 
Agreed VP3 is good. I bought World Championship Pool 04 for PS2 but havent played much.
 
maybe its not everyones preference 2d but gameplay is far better than i pool etc and the people too... ohh just a little thing tell poolcompsonline that its crap when they are hosting world 8 and 9 ball online titles once all is revealled.......unlike vp3 huh :D

Sorry greeny, just telling it like it is. Have you ever played Virtual Pool 3. The subject of computer pool games has come up on here before and it was Virtual Pool 3 that was discussed. VP3 is fairly accurate and didn't get hardly any responses at all. As far as pool is concerned, it is a tough crowd.

You say "world 8 and 9 ball online titles"? Well, it being just a 2D game, it takes a lot of gull just to call it that. "2D"? Your talking about Pac Man. What is the winner going to say to their friends? "Hey, I won the world 9 ball title over the weekend"!

Again, sorry if I'm sound harsh greeny. But I'm not being nearly as harsh as the responses would be if you tried to convince people on here that this is like real pool. They wouldn't even concede that about VP3.

Ya, know the reason they dont extend the aim lines is to make it more like real pool (Long shots more difficult)... if the aim lines extended all the way everyone would make every shot before too long...
 
yes sure captain i understand but the thing is new game physics also 3d shall be put in place when pco is ready to promote and also 24/7 cash comps which will generate thousands of cash ,but as for the game play on its own it really is quite accurate although your looking at the down view at the moment, but people also like that too as well as 3d .thanks anyway stay cool play pool ..........Greenman
