well this is what i managed to do to my wrap tonight in league. Hit the wrap area on a stool and the bottom of the foot rest put a nice gash in the wrap.

It is a stack leather wrap if you somehow cant tell from the picture.

My question is should i use contact cement to glue it down, use cyano, or use something else,

and then sand it and seal it with wax.

Any suggestions?!?!?!?!

I would dab a little contact cement under the detached flap and glue it down. Once dried, I could repolish the wrap.

yea i have a lathe and i have refinished my own wrap before but i was just wondering if i should use contact cement or like something else like cyano or elmers.

i was just worried about the flap part still coming up when i run my hand down the wrap. I guess i can try to glue the edges of the flap as well to make it stay

Make sure the whole damn flap is covered in glue. You are going to clean it up anyway when the wrap gets repolsihed.

Careful if you use Cyno. I've used cyno on other leather repairs, a nick out of a soft leather shoe for example. The soft outer part of the nick where it is torn will sop up the cyno and get hard. Probably won't look that great so as per Ryan's suggestion, I would stick with contact cement.
