Opinions Needed

I have a problem and I would like some opinions. I mailed someone a set of joint protectors. I used Delivery Confirmation. Buyer says that he has not received them although the PO says that they were delivered last week. When I printed the label he was sent a notice with tracking and he seems to have ignored that. He claims that I should have known that since he lives in NYC that I should have known to ask for Signature Required. If he lives in a bad neighborhood he should have said so. We mail about 100 packages a month and have for several years and have never had any problems. He feels we should refund or replace. Opinions please. Thanks Jim

i'll say he's a liar he should pay up and get a PO box

I would just scratch it up as a lesson learned. Replace them with signature required this time.
