I am thinking of getting another cue that I don't need and have been eyeballing this line on the seybert site.

Anyone who does or has owned one...did you like it? Was it worth it? What other cues would it compare to.

Thanks in advance.

Hi LWW,

I peruse the seyberts forum too.

I have a JP04 (I believe this is one, too lazy to check) but I fitted it with a predator shaft, so I can't really tell you too much. You must be thinking, why the heck did I reply huh. Well for the some 10 minutes that I've let other people stroke some shots with the original shaft, they have said its really stiff, and I've tried it myself, it is stiff. I'd say I got a good deal on the cue, it's a color I like, got a bit of ivory, and I have no problems with the worksmanship thus far. Are you considering a production or a custom? My JP is one of the lower end productions I believe. Also, Danny Basavich if I'm not wrong, uses the very same cue as I do. Perhaps if you get a hold of him, you could ask him?!?

I might not have helped,

I have hit with one, and for the money, it's not a bad deal at all. It's not a custom cue, but a better production cue, if you will...

If you are looking at getting one, send an email to joerackem@aol.com - tell him "Roscoe" told you to and he'll give you another 5% off, free shipping, free case, etc....

You can see what he has here.

I have a custom Pechauer cue and I like it immensely. Everyone that I've let shoot a few shots with it has had nothing but compliments for it as well.

Design is a matter of taste, they are definitely more modern but I am sure the patterns appeal to many.

I have hit with a Pechaur and as stated they are very stiff. I've since switched to Joss and I like the hit alot better, feels more solid with english. JMO.

I've had a couple, with w-t-w joints. They both had very soft hits, even with MH Talisman tips. I was happy to sell them. I've never tried their stainless steel joints, which may offer a harder hit and might account for other posters' desciptions of a hard hit. I also expect that they had better shaft wood. I personally far prefer McDermotts.
