Opinions On This Lucasi Break Shaft/Tip

well, i didnt get any response so i went ahead and ordered this shaft. i figure at $45 i cant really get hurt too much. i'll let everyone know what i think of it. should have it be friday or saturday.

This shaft arrived today. I am still at the office but when i get home i am going to give it a try and see what i think. I'll post my thoughts after i break some racks with it tonight - in case anyone is interested.

BTW, due to the ice and some snow most high school basketball games are cancelled tonight. thats why i will be home and at the table.

I have been waiting for you to get this shaft. I'm very interested in how a $45 shaft is off the bay.

This new break shaft hits fine. It appears to be very similar to a phenolic ferrule/tip, but I could be mistaken as to what its actually made of. Anyway, the hit/sound is very similar to the other phenolic ferrule/tip shaft that I have. For $45 I'd say you cant go wrong here, so I give this a thumbs up.

However, i do put a white streak on the cloth with this shaft. not sure why, dont with any other shafts. See the other thread.
