Looking at trading a jacoby hustler with a predator z2 shaft for a meucci se 8. Both with some cosmetic wear and tear just looking for opinions on if its a good deal or not

I would say no way
but you may say OK.
Its worthless to ask one with no clue
about what things mean to you.

I got about $550 in the jacoby and everything I can find about meucci says its worth about the same

just my opinion but the only way id trade my jacoby for any meucci is if they threw in enough cash to get my jacoby built again.

Here is my honest opinion, look at certain things. Who's idea was it to trade yours or the person with the Meucci? How do you like shooting with your Jacoby, is it the cue for you? Have you shot with a this Meucci? Or any other Meucci cue before? How did you like it?

These are all questions you need to ask yourself. Custom cue or not you dont want to risk getting rid of a player that you truly loved for possibly something you will want to get rid of as soon as she gets in your hands. So dont get into a Cue brand debate, its all a matter of what feels good for you. Anyone could say hell NO! on AZ but when it comes down to it in the end your the choice maker.

Hope I could be of some assistance.

Meucci quality has suffered greatly over the past twenty-plus years.

The Meucci cues with their name written in the fancy cursive style are of considerably less quality as compared to the older models with Meucci written in block letters.

So, I believe the general concensus would be that while the SE8 may have a real nice look to it, your Jacoby is the better pool cue from a quality standpoint.

Best,
