You might want to consider 4 different woods like I did on my Skip. I think it came out great.

That is really nice. I have finally settled on the veneers and I don't think they are too different than yours. All different and at least from what I can tell, compliment each other nicely.

Looks good to me. I'd have a hard time choosing between the one you picked and the one above it with the mahogony.

Funny you say that because those are two I was teetering between. I just like the look of the Alves a little more but I'll probably ask Skip his opinion and go with it.
