Here is ORCA II: My good friends Rick and Kenny knocked it out of the box and I was happy to be part of the team on this one as the designer.

The Price is $ 19,000.00 OBO - Hand delivered in US only!

Thanks for looking,

Ken (Stu) Mortson

"Orca II" by Esoteric Cue

"Orca II' is a 12 point ( 6 high - 6 low ) modified tuxedo cue with just a splash of blood red. It has 138 ivory inlays on a fully cored cue blank with a BEM forearm into ebony, maple handle and ebony butt sleeve. The cue was built and inlaid in the Esoteric Cue Shop by Rick Geschrey in 2012.

This Cue was designed by Ken (Stu) Mortson whereby his inlay design symbolizes a great white shark feeding while he becomes the dinner for the Orca Killer Whale.

The original Orca was inlayed on a patograph over 30 years ago and is the sequel to the famous "Jaws Cue" while Stu was creating design and performing pantograph art in California. The original "Orca" is destined for a permanent display of modern cue art design with 8 other of Stu's masterpiece cues in a New York Art Museum as a legacy.

Orca II is a tribute to this great flowing design and is a compilation of the work of 3 generations. Ken (Stu) Mortson (89) as the designer, Rick Geschrey (58) as the Cue Maker and Ken Simonson (39) as the Cue Artist that rendered the theme of these inlays into Art on the handle.

Nice paint job but $19,000 BAAHAAHAAA

Art is viewed as an expression and is seen by those who appreciate Art per se, as in the eye of the beholder. You my friend are surly entitled to your somewhat sophomoric views but I would like to point out that you are in violation of the forum rules with such a post.

This young man Ken is an artist with genius talent in my humble opinion as one who has been in the cue biz for 50 years. It is also my opinion that years from now his art renditions on cues will the highest values ever seen. I have the upper leg because I have seen all of his work on the art cues. But what do i know?

By the way, most art uses paint as the media or havent you noticed that.

All is good!!

Great cue!

Hi Stu,

I have seen the pics of this beauty before and it´s stunning, I know I saw pictures that followed the Orca/shark all the way around - stunning work!

A true artwork and even if it might not be played I´m most certain it would play great consider the build process.

You guys are all on top of my list as great folks, Rick and I designed most of my cue but I know that Stu was there as a force to be reckon with and that Kenny of course nailed the bumper part.

Please show some more works of the Art cues and do put up the 360 pics of the Orca.

Best regards from a fellow cue nerd:p

Does it come with two shafts and joint protectors?

Rick built Ebony Joint pros with ivory inlays with with butt sleeve design. At this time they are missing in the shop but we will find them.

As far a another shaft, we could accomodate that without any problem.
