I am looking for an Original Gulyassy Sledgehammer. I'm lookng for one of the first ones that was made by Mike Gulyassy himself. Not the Samsara or Mcdermott version. If anyone has one please let me know. Thanks in Advance.

Mike had the tip changed to a g10 and the cue has a slight roll that never shows up jumping or breaking and a couple small dings, just being honest. I'm not in a hurry to sell it but will take $175.00 shipped in lower 48.--Leonard

I hope that Purdman doesn't mind me using his photo, but in it I can show everyone how Mike told me that you can identify one of his Jump/Breaks that is custom made. Look at the pin coming out of the bottom butt end. You see that it has the 3/8-10 thread that Mike uses on his joint. Mike says that the ones he made have this thread on the butt end. The ones made over seas will have a quick release pin in this location.manwon said:You are aware that many of these so called Original Sledgehammer cues were made in China by Kao Kao. I do not know how many Mike personally made, or how to identify them from Chinese models, but these were the first made and are known as originals.
You might want to PM Mike here on AZ, and ask him how to identify these from cues he personally made.
Take Care
It has been a while since Mike told me that. Maybe things have changed. Hopefully Mike will clue us in on the difference.BENFICA said:Something is not right then because he told me that he did some of his Sledgehammers and the current non-Sledgehammers using that quick release pin as well. But I might be wrong as well![]()
