Original Palmer Value

Chart House is nice. We went to Texas Roadhouse. About a minute from the pool hall. I'm not in Daytona, I'm in Palm Coast. The retard was driving some kind of Prius or something, drooled over my daughter's pickup. She's a little delicate thing, when people see her truck they are surprised. She called him an "incel" if you know what that means.

Yeah, the old Mali plays nice, this one has too soft a hit for me, but it's the one I strap to my sissy bar in a cheap but sturdy case when I take my bike to the pool hall. It's in immaculate condition though. She liked it. She knows I am careful with my cues so she was surprised I let her use one.

I know you're not in Daytona, that was just a reference point. I haven't heard the term "incel." You may have to educate us.

Reminds me of the days driving down to Daytona when I would actually take a cue with me. It would either be a Sneaky Pete, or a McDermott from the D Series. You and I are the only ones who remember it. I wouldn't dare take a valuable cue down there.

Hated playing pool in Daytona. There was Brown's billiards, where they crank the music so loud, you have blood coming out of your ears. So, I would go to Orlando, when Cuephoria was around. Don't know if it still is. Only opened at 3PM. Florida pool isn't what it used to be.

Wiki: "Incel is a term associated with a mostly online subculture of people, who define themselves as unable to find a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one, and who may blame, objectify and denigrate women and girls as a result." It comes from "involuntary celibate".

Brown's is still around. 30 min from here.

This cue on E bay will most probably sell in the $400 to $600 range in an auction format with a $99 start point - my 2 cents and best estimate - could go a bit higher - never know.

Anybody have any idea on the possible value of this cue? I've seen so much fluctuation in value and not really being able to identify this cue in the catalogs I saw.
Thank you all for your input. This is not my stick, it belongs to a friend who just inherited it and had no clue of its worth. He was just interested as was I once I saw it. For the one saying they spend many years at bars, pool halls, etc, learning about these things. I have been playing for over 40 years and had not seen one so forgive me..

If he inherited this from anyone he cared about....he should just keep it.

My cues are going in the box with me...
And I'll be gambling with the devil for eternity.

Nice to meet you too! :)

If you have "been around" the game for 40 years then you know exactly what was going on here. ;)

Welcome to the forum.
