Orphan Cue.......

I came across this cue not too long ago, and have been tring to find out as much as I can about this little orphan.......If any one info or suggestions it would be very helpful.........

Show the pin/collar area too. It could be a lot of help in determining the origin of that cue.
 
I wish i had the pics

I wish I had a pic of the joint/collar, but the unfortunite thing is that the cue actually doesn't have one right now. I have the after pic but not before. It was a steel joint with the same matching rings. The dots rings are all inlayed and the 6 points and real inlays as well. It is also not in my possesion.....Long story about how it happened, but needless to say i am tring to find out what I can about the cue. Looking into getting it fixed if it is worth more than the case that holds it......

From the looks of it, the joint area looks too small already.
It looks like the maker accidentally took too deep of a pass on top.
 
I saw the twin to that one tonight. It was made in the Phillipines. The makers last name started with an A. I can't remember the rest of it. I see the guy every Wednesday.
 
The picture doesn't do any justice.......the angle at which it was taken makes the joint look abnormal but it is true........thanks for the info, Webb, if you can find out any more about it please let me know.....

thanks for the link..........i will probibally take to a local guy around atl. and see it it is even worth getting fixed and see how much it will set me back.......
