Orthotic grips -- do they exist?

Recently I started playing with a McDermott that features an unconventional leather grip. So far, so good. But it's got me wondering:

Why not an orthotic grip that's either molded to your cue on purchase, or one that develops memory. Would there be any advantage?

Obiously not all shots are from the same grip position, but I'd wager that at least more than half come from the same position on the butt.

Curious about your thoughts.

9BallPaul...You'd be on the right side of that bet! It's actually about 80% of SOP shots (shots where you don't have to reach, or aren't on, or close to a rail). With SOP shots we almost always have the same bridge length, and hold the cue in our 'comfort level' position (which should be where your hand falls under your elbow, when the tip is on the CB).
