Oscar vs Chris Reinhold

Anyone have any info on how this went ? I thought they were matching up at Railyard this weekend ?

I think their Fargorates for a race to 30 was around +7 for Chris.
Current Fargorate has Oscar at 779 and Chris at 748. So are you saying Chris would need 7 games on the wire to make this race to 30 an even match? My understanding is that they were playing even?

Oscar’s big $ match experience would appear to give him a considerable edge, even though he owns/ manages one of the busiest pool rooms in the country and likely doesn’t play nearly as many tournaments as Chris.

At 779 and 748 with Oscar racing to 30, Chris would be at 58% to win if he was racing to 23, 52% going to 24, and 46% going to 25. So in a race to 30, it looks like giving Chris 6 games on the wire would be closest to an even match by FargoRates.

Sounds to me like if they are indeed playing even, Chris and his stakehorse have the worst of it. Maybe there are odds on the $?

If that’s their current (I saw 780 and 742), then Fargorate have 30-24 about the even race. So +6 for Chris. Oscar is by far more seasoned at these types of sessions. He’s been active lately.

I guess that this matchup is held on Chris’s turf on the table he regularly practices on is why he felt he could win this match playing even. That and because apparently some name players had their $ on Chris.

The Railyard is not Chris’ turf. I think this is a neutral site for both.

I’ve tuned in a few times. Each time I’ve felt like their moving games have been below the international standard. I think this session will be a good tune-up for their games and help them get feedback on what to work on.

Updated score? Thanks!
