Biloxi Boy
Man With A Golden Arm
Looking to expand my horizons. Particularly interested in content on old cues and cases, but let's see it all. Thank y'all in advance.
Jay Fishbein's photographs are reason enough to join the Palmer group, even if you're not a Palmer fan. I wish other groups were as good.I do a few billiard things on Facebook- but many of them I just don't like bc there are just too many very uneducated people on the Facebook sites and it seems like more than half just want to "steal" a cue for someone at a ridiculous price.
I do appreciate Palmer cues and the Facebook site for Palmer cues is just great, IMO.
Despite working in IT for many years, I don't like Facebook or most other forms of social media. Unfortunately, much of the good pool content has moved there. I made a Facebook account just to be able to participate in the pool groups, but nothing else. I would love to hear your pool stories or see pictures of your cues, but I don't care about your politics or what you're having for dinner.I have never had a good experience with Facebook. Simple navigation around a page requires way more effort than I can give. It is difficult for me to understand how it has met with any success at all. I do appreciate the suggestions.
What if it was a really good dinner? I kid, but yeah i have similar feelings as you guys do, i havent used facebook really in the past 10 years. other than for comic book connections and artists (comicon) and recently for pool groups like you guys mentioned.Despite working in IT for many years, I don't like Facebook or most other forms of social media. I work in IT, and refuse to be on "popular" social media. Just a few forum sites. So I agree there.Despite working in IT for many years, I don't like Facebook or most other forms of social media. That looks pretty good, but can I at least see your cue?I work in IT, and refuse to be on "popular" social media. Just a few forum sites. So I agree there.
But now you have to look at my dinner here. AAA Cherry smoked striploin, medium rare, seared over the fire grill to finish. So there.
