If he was banned, he was not a member of this forum.

That by itself made him not eligible for the raffle.

If you want to send him the case, that is fine.
However, remember all of the other people on here who got in raffles with him.
They are probably never going to see any of their money back in their pockets.

Is that fair?

So why does he deserve to be dealt with in a fair way?
He does not in the slightest.

What is A-Roid got a lifetime ban from MLB?
Should be be eligible to play in the all star game?
NO.
What if he did it under an assumed name and won the MVP?
Should he be able to keep the award, even though he was banned?
Should he be able to keep the award, even though the others who participated played by the rules?

THAT IS WHAT IT ALL COMES DOWN TO.
HE DID NOT FOLLOW THE RULES SET FORTH IN THE AUCTION LISTING.

HE CANNOT WIN.

I don't know what cuerepair1969 did to some people but he came through for me. I bought a Phillippi cue ( http://forums.azbilliards.com/showth...ight=phillippi ) from him this past weekend and he sent it express Mail and I just received it. It is perfect!

Trust me i have been holdiing my breath the last day or two since all of this has come up. But he was always nice and communicated well with me.

I don't know if the guy deserves another chance or not. Maybe he has changed. I guess a couple people had bad transactions with him in the past under some other name. I am sorry to hear about that. He has seemed to get back on the right track though.

I joined this forum to meet others and sell, buy, and trade with others that love the game as much as I do. If he is not trustworthy then yes he should not be on here.

As for the case....that is a tough situation. I am glad i am not in Bantay 1's shoes. I do see both sides of the story. But come on guys, do we need to fight over HIS decision. If he want to send him the case then he should. Just remember if you don't cuerepair1969 could start up a stink with PayPal and we might not have a raffle section at all after all of this. Send him the case and lets get on with our lives.

This is my 2 cents and please take it with a grain of salt. I am just glad I got my cue. She is a beauty!

Ive read this thread from the beginning, and I too was in the raffle, and as much as I hate this, my opinion is ship the case...for one sole reason...the greater good. He has been banned twice, and if he decides to start causing problems with the raffle section, it could be bad.


I personally know I didnt pick the winning number nor had any will to pick that number, so its as if someone reputable did win it.

I just suggest when running future raffles, maybe limiting it too AZ members may not be enough, you may have to have "x" many posts, or time as a member...thats for the powers that be to decide.
