I say this because I recently bought a p3 on eBay that a year or so ago would have gotten twice the amount that I paid for it. I was watching eBay for months and realized most of the cues on there at high prices just weren’t moving anymore.
One that stuck out to me was the p3 racer. When I wanted one of these the butt alone was alway close to 2k which even though I like predator I just can’t justify for a production cue. Now there is one on there with a revo shaft that was going for $1500. I offered him $1200 thinking I’ll sell the shaft for $300 and get a good price. He turned it down. A week later while waiting for the cue I bought he sent me an email offering me the cue for $1100. It’s still there the last I checked.
I also noticed the special edition bk rush cues that were selling for silly prices are sitting there unsold. I know everyone is saying the cue market isn’t great so maybe it’s a good time to buy
I’m not going to get into the conversation that sellers are ripping people off. cue’s whether it’s predator or a custom cue are only worth what your willing to pay for it so if some one is willing to pay 2k for an $800 break cue then the price isn’t wrong in a free market. Would I do it? ughhhh no lol but you do you with your money lol
