I'm proud to call Kenny a friend and even prouder to be able to have these special cases made for his very special cues.

Kenny Koo aka The Flyingsnail will be embarking on a special project producing 12 Brazillian Rosewood base cues with special elements in them. Of which 3 will be uniquely special and thus requires special cases.

I won't get into details of the cues as Kenny will share that when he is ready. I'm just glad to be one of the fortunate 3.

The 3 cases represents more than just 3 special cues, for me i say it represents a special friendship (no kinky thoughts there buddy...).

For such a special cue a special case is needed and i turned to Armor Case maker Zheng Yang from China for just that. For those familiar with his past work(i've posted quite some) you'll know i'm a huge admirer of his work and they speak for themselves.

Kenny provided the Flyingsnail Logo and the rest was up to Yang to work on. I think the case turned out not too shabby...

Very nice job they look top shelf, and i'm sure Kennys cues will match. Again excellent job.

That is some great photo skills !!! those are some of the super clean work there, excellent case too. hurry up and send it to me as I can't wait to see it in person just as much as I can't wait to receive the K. Koo special project rosewood on rosewood cue. Let me know when the case is up in the air buddy.

I like when good people get together on projects like this. Kenny Koo is real good person, an great artist as well. Thank you for always making AZ a better place : )
 
Thanks for all the kind words guys, I'll be sure to convey all the praises to Yang. He was an absolute joy to work with.

I've also gotten quite a few PMs regarding placing orders for his cases. Unfortunately he doesn't have any spots open till late year. He might open his books for order taking early next year again but for now he won't be taking any orders. I still have 2 more cases waiting to be done and they were orders from last year...

I might bring your case to you and send Kenny's to him. I'm still deliberating...cos if you're meeting me in L.A then I'll bring the Mobley and a Zen then I won't have too much luggage space for these cases. If you're not meeting me in L.A then I'll just bring yours to you in NYC.
But if you wanna see your case that badly then I'll just UPS to you tommorrow and you're bringing me to Peter Luger for one night and Wollensky the next when I see u in a few weeks time!

buddy, ship the case tomorrow as I'm still checking the schedule for L.A. and don't want you to carry so much sh$t anyway., as for Peter Lurger and Wollensky, you can have it 3 meals a day if you want it. until you get all STEAKS out hahahha... don't forget there also seafood out in Long Island too !!! you mention you bringing a Zen cue ? is that Zen cue for me ?? :grin::grin::grin:

I can bring it with me it's no problem but I suppose you wanna see it badly huh..

I don't know which Zen I'm bringing I don't even know how it looks hahha. Told Zen I'm going over and he'll make me something for the trip so it'll be a surprise for me as well.

I don't want steak for 3 meals, we've got Dim Sum for lunch. But I'm buying lunch cos it's cheaper.
