Outsville SOLID!!!!

Okies am a few adjustments away from releasing the Outsville "Solid" break tips... The adjustments are esthetic in nature as I have the process and percentages established...

The "Solid" is a single layered break tip based on the Vacuum impregnation processes used on the Outsville Ki-Techs... The elastomer and hardener contents have been established to create a hard break tip that has the ability to grab the ball to allow consistent cueball control while attempting to eliminate any deformation while transferring optimal energy by eliminating compression....

I'd like to get a list of people interested in trying out the Solid... I am looking mainly for Samsara and Odega users but a few sonic or Bk2 phenolic users will be selected as well...I must also limit the shipping to US or Canada to keep from having to deal with higher shipping costs and customs....

The FREE tip will ship out next Monday after this thread has been up thru the week to get a list of interested parties..... Please respond to this thread and not thru PM as I might miss your PM and not get you included in the drawing... depending on the response I will determine the number of persons selected thru random drawing..... PLEASE INDICATE YOUR CURRENT PREFERENCE OF BREAK TIP IN YOUR POST!!!

Break tips will not go on sale for a few weeks yet

We are still doing the samplers of the Ki-Techs at $15 introductory for a soft, medium and hard.....

AZ quantity breaks for KI-Techs are still as follows for specifying hardness grades:
3-$21
5-$30
10-$50
25-$100

I'd like to thank everyone who has ordered and provided feedback so far....

Shoot straight and may all of your racks be tight....

Meaning to say we could still choose whatever hardness we want to get from you for the Ki Tech tips? Or 3 for $21 is for the break tip?

Break tip only comes in one flavor LOL... and they won't go on sale for awhile...

The pricing is for the Ki-Techs but I will still swap one end out for the other.... say 2 soft 1 medium..in the sampler if someone knows they HATE soft or hard tips as a rule... This is to get people to try them and find out if they are going to like them and play with them...

For specific orders it's 3 for 21 instead of 15(sampler intro price) as I have expectations that if you are ordering quantities of a specific tip you have found the grade you prefer from the sampler......

Chris

I currently use a White Diamond on a Dufferin house cue.

I bought the Dufferin used. It was originally a 1-piece house stick, but someone did a nice job of converting it to a 2-piece, with a decent ferrule and a White Diamond tip. When I bought it, the ferrule had a slight, lil crack in it, but for $30 (and in dire need of a dedicated breaker), I couldn't pass it up. I used it for almost a year, before the crack spread to the point that I had to have it replaced, along with a fresh White Diamond.

I'd absolutely be willing to try your new break tip, as you know how much I love the Ki-Tech player ones. I have them on all of my primary playing and back-up shafts.

The White Diamond is a solid, solid break tip, but I'd be very interested to see how it compares to your new entry into the market.

Just let me know.

Arh okay. Thanks for the information.

Can we mix and match?

The mix and match Ki-Tech prices are what is listed... The sampler where there is little leeway and usually comes as a hard, medium and soft is still @ $15.... free shipping to North America.....

Hahah I guess I should have focused on what I wanted instead of including the Ki-Techs here....

Outsville "SOLID" needs player feedback... Looking to give some away to North American players... IF you are interested post in the thread and make sure you tell me what your current break tip is

Hmm... when I first glanced at this thread's title, I thought Chris flipped his company and was excited about it. Didn't see that "I" between the "L" and the "D." :p

All funnin' aside, Chris, I'd be interested. I use Samsara (on a phenolic ferrule) at the moment.

Chris,
I'd be interested in trying your new Outsville Solid break tip. I have a Tiger Icebreaker break cue with a Samsara tip. I've tried a lot of different break tips and the Samsara is the best yet. I'd like to see how your new tip compares.

I too would like to try the break tip. You should still have my mailing info,if not PM me. Tommy D.

I would love to try this tip. I currently use a Samsara and I am about ready for a new one before too long.

EDIT: Just tonight I was using my other break cue with a phenolic tip and the tip disintegrated on me. I got a shaft that is certainly ready for the Outsville SOLID. Can't wait to try one of these.

Chris, I have a Denali break cue with a white diamond break tip. And since I have been using and like your Ki-Tech playing tip I would like to try your leather break tip.

Hello,
I use a custom jacoby breaker. Has a phenolic ferule and samsara tip.
Would love to try one of these out.

Thanks!
Jon

I'm using a Samsara on one breaker and hard leather tip on another (I also have a phenolic tip/ferrule combo in my Sledgehammer but it is parked for a while, as long as I'm testing that leather jump/break tip).

I'd like to give new Outsville Break tip a try (though I have to find a cue to put it on, LOL). If I'm picked, Chris, you should have my US shipping address (or PM to verify it once more).

Is this tip good for jump shots also, what's your expectations?

oh, and I though I was the only one to reads ir as SOLD :p

Ah, my timing is poor....just had my breakers phenolic tip replaced a few weeks ago. :p
I did get to participate in the previous test, which I'm still grateful for. It will be fun reading reports on this one.

Good luck with it, Chris!

I need feed back about the jumping for sure... I have a specialty jump cue and a dedicated break cue so I have not been able to really test it on a break jump. or even a quality stroke jumper... All 3 jumpers I own at the moment are dart jumpers for tight quarters.....

I do have an original sledgehammer out on loan... guess I'll call that one back in and see what I think.... I am a firm believer in dedicated break and jump equipment so I really had not thought of it in the jump realm... Thanks for reminding me to take the blinders off and look around......

and after Sean pointed it out I immediately broke down laughing... Would have been cool if I had sold out for gazillions but I have too many ideas I intend to roll out under the branding.....

I will try some when i see you Thursday, give me a call when your free...

I break with a Rick Howard Mace Break Jump with a Phenolic Tip. This is perfect timing as I want to move away from the phenolic.
Put me on the list of people willing to try out the SOLID and see how well she does.

I use a BK2 with standard phenolic tip and am willing to swap and try one of yours and provide feedback. I also jump pretty well with the BK2 and can provide feedback on that aspect as well.
