Chris

I also have a magic rack that doesn't work 100% of the time. I will definitely look into purchasing one of these from you.

if we have no pm this morning, does that mean we should not expect one of your "racks" in the mail?

myabe it means chris got "lucky"after the movies and wasnt SOLO....:canoodle:

Who says pool players aren't smart LOL

If you sent a PM that included an address I didn't respond but you made it in time... I did send PMs to the 2 that forgot the addy to fill out the first 12.... Will put the list here this evening....

Chris

They used the old 9ball template when it was rack and run so I dropped some SOLOS off but Rick was not around. I left them a small Outsville banner to put up as well. Don't know the guy that runs the tournament and have not been there Friday or Saturday to try and get them to start using them... Maybe next week I will be able to get by..

Chris
Maybe see you there

i have and use the magic rack
it works great

im not as" lucky" as you......:embarrassed2:

I am late to the party, have no idea what's going on, but... I'll take one!!!!

And in a month, I'll give a review.

Freddie <~~~ get the party goin'

Fred I think you were born late =P Check your PMs would be nice if you got a table I think you even have R&D chalk LOL...

Anywho.... Have had several questions as to what I want reviewed... Ease of racking.... Quality of racks.... I will send all of you the old 9ball Accu-Rack to compare to the new SOLO...

Try it with new balls... Old balls... Tables that have the balls beat in or with worn out cloth... See if you can find places where the balls can't freeze... Oversized money balls should be the SOLO's only kryptonite...

Chris

so, my post was # 12 but I do not have a pm? does that mean I do not get to try it out?
:sorry:

Post

I'm getting great consistent rack results.
You can really tune in your break once you experiment with ball speed and get the ol' CB to desired location.
A good tight rack with clean balls on any table using any rack the wing ball should go on a break from the right or left....with proper stroke. But most of the time your fighting the rack to get all the balls tight....

With this rack your not fighting for a good tight rack, it's automatic once you get used to working with it.

Oh, yeah' good luck snapping the 9! Yeah, it's that tight!

I use a majic rack everyday for practice and gambling. I have a old one and a new one too. I have found that it is real easy to use it and make the racking easy but very easy to make a ball on break and you can pattern rack very easy. I was in Knoxville last year and used your racks at a small bar that you told me to go too and they seemed good too.

Racks shipped today... Would figure they should be arriving Friday to Monday depending on where you live......

Chris

In my opinion, the SOLO rack kicks Magic Racks ass. It is easier to "load" and it doesn't slide around on the table as easily as the Magic Rack does.

It isn't perfect, but it is close. If left on the table and a ball comes across it at a "funny" angle you get some deflection or skids if it hits the edge of the rack just right. But all these type of rack do that, so I'm NOT complaining.

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words... Been busy wth the Open so I haven't nudged the thread now that you guys have had a chance to try them.. Sent Bunches home from the US Open with people but never get to hear back from tournament sales very often....

Chris
