I suggested that because they are contributing to the trade deficit of their countries by buying US-Made goods.
Oh, those US-based cueamakers who complain about Asian-made cues while at the same time selling cuemaking equipment to them are hyprocrites imo.
Hey Joey, I sure hope your not refering to me? I sell my cues, my machinery to whoever, I please.
Yes, I sell cues and machinery over-seas. SO WHAT?
{{{{{As the founder of the American Cuemakers association, and president for two terms, vice-president two terms, I caught hell from within the association. It was brought to my attention that I should not help the up coming yourger wanna-be cuemakers, and or I should stop building machinery, because i wasn't in the best interest of the ACA. BS, again. It seems they didn't want the competion. I told them real fast, I'll teach, sell to whoever and whenever I please}}}}}.
About a week or so ago, I posted that I was again contacted by the ACA, [or a member] asking me not to build machinery and or teach cuemaking. BS again.
I'm loyal to the guys who got me started years ago, they get my cues first. THE AMERICANS POOL PLAYERS.
I sell many more cues in the states than I ever have over-seas. Back in the early 80's, I could of sold thousands of cues to Japan. I was contacted by many new Japanese buyers, who wantd my cue exclusively. I said no. My friends here in the states got me started and that's where the bulk of my cues will be sold.
Yes, I've made many trips over-seas, selling my cues, and have done good. Everytime I go, I sell out. But I have many cues on order for the guys here. THEY COME FIRST.
I sell to Asians countries, [cues and machines]. I have no problem with there cues coming in the states. It makes the rest of us do a better job, at what we enjoy doing.
Push comes to shove,I find that most Americans, do buy AMERICAN made cues.
The ones who support the Asians, so be it[ don't knock them for it],some are just cheap ass people, some can not afford American made cues, but like to play pool and have no choice, but to buy the lower-end cues. Don't knock them for buying the lower-end cues, after all if they didn't, we would not have as many playing our sport.
EXPOSURE, guys.
