Pa state tournaments

WOW!! Last year's prize pool was $8585.00 with only 32 players. Play for money not points.
It has been well known for a while that the PA State event has been the place to be for the $$$.
While the #s you mention above...the $ laid out on the table by McNally's $ man, for anyone to take a shot at, made 9' of stax.

Is there an updated players list? It would be cool to see the players who have singed up so far. I plan on playing in the 9 ball.

The f fox

Now that Paul has made this an Open tournament I am really looking forward to seeing some of the top pros at this year's event.

Paul Mottey

Playing in the bar box tournament in Wheeling, WV this weekend. Signed up some more players for both events. Still some spots open.

There will be a dress code. No shorts, raggedy jeans or shirts, no hats on backwards - in other words just be neat. Inside Pool Mag will be streaming this tournament.

I've never played in a 9 ball tourney, but seriously considering entering for the experience alone.Sounds like it will be a fun event.Wish I lived closer to Pitt so I could visit the room all the time.

22 Paid, 26 more one the "will be here" list and calls coming in all day. Won't know until they show up and pay. There are always last minute entries.

Here are the nine ball results - 29 entries $4900 prize pool + calcutta
1st place Adam Smith $1,720 / $750
2nd place Mike Davis $1,290 / $500
3rd place Derek Pogirski $860 / $250
4th place Cory Young $430
tied for 5th place Dan Madden $300
tied for 5th place Pat Calvaresi $300

Small field, great payout. $4900 for 29 player tournament + $1500 calcutta. Someone needs to tell me why this tournament didn't have more players with this much money to be made. Doesn't make much sense.
