i think its an R12 model which from his menthor Paul Thornley was given to him as a gift...i ask Paul if he still have the picture of Alex cues next week

This is a real nice shon but it's not the one Alex is using right now... The one he is using right now has ivory joint and it's in Purpleheart or some wood of that color range..:confused:

Alex cue that his using at WPC is a MEZZ cue...i shoot with his cue and it hits good :)
 
Do you know which model is it? Have you tried it with the pred shaft or with the hybrid from mezz..?

I tried it w/ original Shaft it hits solid and feels good...i'm surprised that alex don't use predator shaft while using a MEZZ cue....i talked to Paul thornley and asked about the schon cues that Alex used to play w/ he forgot the model of the cue but he said its an old model schon.....the reason that alex don't use the schon for now because he sent it for repair maybe refinish?....here is the picture of Alex Mezz cue see below..

Mezz collaborate with Predator on a lot of projects, Mezz offers Predator shafts as standard with some of its lines :).
 
is it a full sponsorship or do they just send him shafts like they do with johnny? cuz predator "sponsors" johnny as well but he doesnt even use a predator cue even tho they gave him one for free. so if all they do is send alex shafts or free cues i dont think he has to use them at all. mezz seems to fully sponsor him which is why he wears the mezz patch sometimes.
 
Don't forget that Predator also makes a break cue and now a jump cue.

If a pro uses any one of these things, Predator will probably say they "sponsor" them.

I've looked at the cue and Alex uses a Mezz Cue (EC-P4) with WD700 shaft.

see i dont know man... maybe they're just wearing those patches...lol... i mean probably the company will tell them to put the patch on everytime u play in big tournaments this year and i will give you "this much money" for the whole year. And then the players will use what ever stick they want to use...
