2 Chucks,2 tommy bars, 1 MT2 shank 50.00 plus shipping
 
I saw these before and thought about trying them. Is there any advantage to these over a jacobs drill chuck? Other than the larger jaw opening. I would need an adapter because my tailstock is mt3.

Joe,
I have one of these chucks on the headstock end of my sanding lathe, not on the tailstock.
Most of the time I just use a mt2 dead center.

Does your headstock spindle have MT2 taper ?
I don't see how it can support torque .
Can be used for milling but turning without a live center ?

Ofcourse it has mt2 taper. On the tailstock you need a live center... Come on Joey...
